Osun voters will not be robbed- Davido

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, a Nigerian musician, has stated that the people of Osun State will not have their votes taken away.

On Monday, the Nigerian singer stated this on his verified Twitter account, in contrast to the Ekiti State election held last week.
“Osun is not Ekiti,” he wrote, “because our people will lawfully resist all attempts to rob them, as they did in 2018… We will be ecstatic on July 16th! But for the time being, I’ll see you all soon.”

Senator Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, was declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Osun state in March after a primary election held at the Osogbo City Stadium ahead of the election in July.

Senator Ademola Adeleke, who was a senator representing the Osun-West Senatorial District in 2017, later defeated Akin Ogunbiyi to become the PDP’s governorship candidate in Osun State.

His nephew Davido, who has been a strong supporter of the Senator, congratulated him on social media.

“Imole congrats,” the multi-award-winning singer wrote. “Congratulations, Osun,”
