President Buhari discusses the IPOB

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has revealed what has kept the country together in the face of numerous calls for secession and rising insecurity.

The President stated that the nation is held together by the ‘grace of God.’ He made this remark during a visit to the Palace of Dr. Faruk Umar, the Emir of Daura.

“We want to thank God forever for keeping us together as a country,” he said. The country was thrown into political crisis on January 15, 1966. We had a 30-month civil war that claimed approximately a million lives.”
