The Katsina State National Youth Service Corps NYSC has begun an in-house training for the state’s Zonal and Local Government Inspectors.
While declaring the training open with the theme, Effective Inspection and Monitoring: Essential Instruments for a Successful Service Year, the state NYSC Coordinator, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad, said the training was in furtherance of the management’s commitment to building the capacity of the officers to enhance good performance.
She stated that the roles of the Zonal and Local Government Inspectors in the Scheme’s operations were critical, hence the emphasis on continuously equipping them with the right skills and attitude to enable them to perform even better.
According to her, the regular update of knowledge will help to sharpen the skills already acquired by the field officers for better productivity. Highlights of the training held at the Multipurpose Hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Mani Road Katsina witnessed various paper presentations by heads of units.
