BIC and artist and education supporter Yemi Alade has teamed together to foster cultural and educational ideals and help more pupils learn.
Additional education-related projects are part of the agreement, which supports the company’s goal of enhancing learning environments for 250 million students by 2025.
Young Nigerian and West African students will be motivated to express themselves creatively and with a passion for learning thanks to Alade’s collaboration with BIC and her wealth of experience as an artist and advocate.
The collaboration began in Nigeria during the back-to-school period with the release of the third episode of BIC’s original video series, “Get A Pen You Can Rely On,” which emphasizes the value of having dependable writing instruments both inside and outside of the classroom.
Speaking with Alade, he said: “As a Nigerian, an advocate for education, and a graduate of the University of Lagos and Victory Grammar School, I am thrilled about the planned projects with BIC that aim to further and highlight the value of education in Nigeria and West Africa. Working with BIC was enjoyable and purposeful for me as I pursue my goal of having a positive influence on future generations.
Guillaume Groues, the general manager of BIC Nigeria, commented on the campaign, saying: “We are honored to collaborate with Yemi on our new back-to-school campaign. She makes a great partner because of her love of learning and her experience serving as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The company has shown its dedication to education through a number of programs, including Global Education Week, the BIC Cristal Pen Awards, a relationship with Enactus, and its continued work through the BIC Corporate Foundation, the company’s charitable arm.
