Ezekwesili urges Africa on disruptive technology, economic growth, others


The continent continues to face a growing leadership gap in the fields of policy analysis, development, and good governance due to the increasing demand for qualified leadership throughout Africa, notably in Nigeria.

The School of Politics, Policy, and Governance (SPPG) is committed to closing the gaps in these areas by providing African students with a curriculum that is well-tailored and takes a global perspective.

Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, convener/chair of FixPolitics and founder of SPPG, said that the world needs Africa and Africa needs the world when discussing the leadership gap in the continent and Nigeria.
The current multilateral system needs to be rapidly repaired in order for the world to be able to make important decisions and take the proper action on matters that concern us all.

According to her, “Africa must be at the centre of the conversations on global governance, economic growth, poverty and inequality, climate change, disruptive technologies and related issues of human and social development.
