Ogar Peter, who represented the NDLEA Yobe State Command in receiving the 98 intercepted packages, claimed that each one has a street value of more than N50,000.
“We are quite happy that this quantity is no longer in circulation. It might have been used to fuel security issues if it had reached its intended target, the speaker said.

Peter continued by saying that the forces’ seizure of the illegal substances demonstrated the degree of cooperation between the state’s operative security agencies.

“In the continuous struggle and fight against the scourge of drug trafficking, the Nigerian military has been incredibly supportive.

We’ll keep coming to your door for further assistance, he said.
