51 Boko Haram terrorists surrender in North East

As the Nigerian military intensifies its campaign against terrorism in the area and in the Lake Chad region, Boko Haram insurgents have continued to give up in the terror-torn North-East.

On Sunday, November 20, in Damboa, 85 kilometers south of Maiduguri, 51 insurgents—including two of their commanders, Ba’a Usman (Munzir) and Alhaji Ari (Nakib)—and 49 fighters—came forward to surrender to members of the Operation Hadin Kai Thearter Command.
According to an investigation by a military source named Zagazola Makama, the insurgents snuck out of the nearby Sambisa forest, where they had been hiding out and waging a terror campaign.
