Breaking: Court disqualifies Rivers’ APC candidate for governor

TVN – The Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the state’s capital of Rivers State has disqualified Tonye Cole, the All Progressives Congress candidate for governor.

The state’s PDP has requested INEC to disqualify Cole of the APC, stating that the delegates that voted at the primary election that brought in the candidate were not democratically elected.

When the matter started, the APC counsel raised a preliminary objection on the jurisdiction of the court to hear the suit.
