Tinubu receives Ebonyi chieftaincy title


The traditional rulers council of Ebony State has bestowed the chieftaincy title on Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a city boy, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, reportedly received a chieftaincy title in Ebonyi State on Thursday.

Tinubu was given the title “Dike Di Ora Nma 1 of Ebonyi State” ahead of Thursday’s presidential campaign rally at the Pa Ngele Oruta township stadium in the state capital.

According to Chooks Oko, an aide to Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi, Tinubu was given the title ‘Dike Di Ora Nma,’ which translates to ‘People’s Hero.’

The award was presented at a town hall meeting in the state on Wednesday.

DOlusegun, an APC supporter, also tweeted a photo of the APC presidential candidate dressed in full Igbo regalia and flanked by some women presenting a wrapped gift item, with the caption, “Asiwaju Bags Chieftaincy Title In Ebonyi State.”

“He is now Ebonyi State’s DIKE DI ORA NMA 1.”
