“The horrific occurrence claimed three lives, leaving five persons with various degrees of injuries,” the group said in a media statement signed and delivered to journalists by its National Leader, Ga’Allah Daniel.
While expressing his condolences to the victims’ relatives, Num, lwong Kal, and the entire Zaar area, the youth leader urged security forces to pursue the criminals.
He claimed that security agencies, whose primary mission was to protect lives and property, needed to wake up and redouble their efforts in order to complete their mission.
“Wake up from your slumber,” Daniel said, and be proactive in community vigilance, reporting any suspicious moves to security services.
We also wish to encourage all towns bordering Zaar land to work together for better information and to alert one another in order to avoid being caught off guard by evildoers.
“We had a number of attacks on our people last year during agricultural season, and now that this year’s farming season has begun, we are witnessing it again with this current attack,” he bemoaned.
