Soludo decried the kidnapping and the growing wave of insecurity in the state in a statement released on Monday by Christian Aburime, his Chief Press Secretary.

“The Governor condemns the recent wave of insecurity across the State, in which innocent individuals have been attacked or killed,” he added.

“This occurs at a time when the government is already reaching out to key stakeholders in order to restore peace and security to the state.”

Soludo decried the rise in the kidnapping and murders of innocent civilians, as well as the state’s disregard for human life.

No one or group, he claimed, has the right to take human life without consequence.

He sent his profound regrets and condolences to the families of those who had lost loved ones and property, either directly or indirectly.
